A top politician in Osun state, Mr. Babatunde Adedotun Taiwo today joined millions of Muslim faithfuls all over the world, especially in Osun state to celebrate the Eid'l Kabir 2017.
According to a statement credited to his campaign office in Osogbo, TT18 Igba Otun, Babatunde described the celebration as a major one while he urged Muslims to use the opportunity to pray for Osun state and Nigeria at large.
The statement reads in a part, 'Every year at the time of Eidal-Adhaa and Hajj, we recount the story of Ibraheem and Isma'el`alayhimussalaam. Their lives were permeated with the Love of Allah Subhaanahu wa Ta'aalaa and with dedication to His service and obedience. They loved and obeyed Allah Subhaanahu wa Ta`aala to such a level of perfection.
Here comes another time of Eidal-Adhaa, I Babatunde Adedotun Taiwo congratulate all people of Islamic faith all over the world and most especially here in Osun State of Nigeria on the occasion of Eidal-Adhaa. The lesson of Eidal-Adhaa is of great essence to humanity, the believe, the love, the sacrifice and total submission to the will of Allah.'
