Footballer Chinedu Udoji dies in auto crash

One of the best defenders in Kano Pillars, Chinedu Udoji, died in a fatal motor accident in Kano on Sunday night. The central defender starred in Pillar’s 1-1 draw against Enyinba at the Sani Abacha Stadium. He prominently featured for Enyimba before joining Pillars a few seasons ago.



Chinedu Udoji was involved in the accident after visiting his former team mates at Enyimba after the match. This tragic accident happened along Club Road in Kano.

Udoji, 28, is survived by his wife and children.

Kano Pillars confirmed his death on their official twitter handle this morning.
