The reigning Miss Arewa Osun, Miss Favour Omoladun, has used this year’s celebration of osun@26 to pray for the economic recovery of the state.
The beauty queen in a chat with our correspondent, expresses her happiness at the relative peace being enjoyed in the state, part of which manifested during the last Osun West Senatorial District By-Election.
“We must collectively join hands to pray and strive in moving our dear state forward. Now is not the time for politics, hands across board must be on deck to salvage our state from its present economic doldrums”, she stressed.
Miss Arewa equally thanked the State Government under the leadership of Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola. We must also appreciate the men of the Osun Police Command, their efforts at maintaining the low-crime status of the state must be commended. I have been following their activities in the media and the Commissioner of Police, Mr Fimihan Adeoye, is doing a wonderful job.
