Everton have put an £8million price on striker Oumar Niasse with Brighton a possible destination after they pulled out of a deal to sign Raphael Dwamena from Zurich because of a failed medical.
Niasse, 27, failed to score for Everton after being signed by their previous manager Roberto Martinez from Russian football.
Though he did well on loan at Hull City towards the end of last season, he's not in Ronald Koeman's plans at Goodison Park.
And the club are eager to save £80,000 a week from the wage bill.
The move would be a good one for Brighton if they are able to sign the Senegalese as he would adding goals and valuable Premier League to the side.
