A Chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress, Omooba Dotun Babayemi has felicitated with Christians on the triumphant resurrection of Jesus Christ after his death on Good Friday.
Babayemi therefore urged followers of Christ to pray more for peace and growth in Nigeria.
The APC chieftain said the nation's crises could be solved with prayers stressing that Christians should make great use of the season and commit the nation into God's hands.
Babayemi in his Easter message made available to newsmen on Sunday charged Christians to be generous by sharing whatever they are celebrating the Easter with those who do not have.
"I rejoice with all Christians on the Easter season. I thank God for giving us his son to die for our salvation and redemption. I want Christians to deepen their prayers for our country Nigeria so that peace will reign on all parts of our nation.
" We should also share our foods with the less privileged and project the kindness of Jesus Christ. A joyous Easter to us all."
