The two Premier League clubs will go up against one another at Anfield in the first leg before the return leg at the Etihad Stadium.
The three Spanish clubs have all been kept apart with Barcelona facing Roma, Real Madrid playing Juventus — a repeat of last year’s final — and Sevilla going up against German giants Bayern Munich.
