The rapper was arrested on Wednesday night (March 28) for allegedly assaulted his on-and-off girlfriend and former Love and Hip-Hop reality star, Emily Bustamante, TMZ reports.
According to TMZ, Emily B. called the cops on Fabolous after he allegedly struck her at their home in Englewood, NJ. Fabolous reportedly turned himself in with his attorney by his side, not long after.
It was also reported that the rapper did not spend time in jail, he simply but cited for the alleged incident and was assigned a ticket for an upcoming court appearance.
“I’ve known Fab close to 20 years and believe he is incapable of engaging in the alleged conduct,” Fabolous’ attorney, Alberto Ebanks tells Billboard.
Fabolous and Emily have two kids together, two-year-old Jonas Jackson and ten-year-old Johan Jackson.
