EFCC Arrest Chinese man for concealing $300k at the Abuja airport

A Chinese, Li Yanping, has been arraigned by EFCC before Justice Babatunde Ouadri of the Federal High Court, Abuja on a one-count charge of concealing a sum of $300,000 from Customs officers.



Yanpng, reportedly hid the money from the officers while attempting to board a flight en route Dubai, on March 15, 2018, at the Abuja airport.

The defendant, however, pleaded not guilty to the charge and was granted bail in the sum of N10million with two sureties in like sum.

Th judge added that he be remanded in the custody of the EFCC until the perfection of his bail conditions.
