Some goats, suspected to have been stolen by a yet to be identified person have been detained at Oke Iresi Police station in Ede, Osun state.

Some residents of Akoda Ede had discovered a Toyota previa vehicle laden with the suspected stolen goats on Friday morning before alerting the Police.

It was discovered that the goats were gagged with rope, apparently not to make noise, while some of the goats had died due to suffocation.

The driver of the vehicle was not found while some residents of the Akoda area identified some of the goats as theirs. They complained that their goats had been missing before the goats were found.

Amiloaded gathered that policemen who visited the scene promised the residents that investigation would be carried out on the development.

Consequently, the vehicle with the goats therein were towed to the police station.
