Osun PDP will miss Late Amb. Gunju Adesakin - Kayode Oduoye




A PDP Chieftain and gubernatorial Aspirant of the party in Osun Hon. Dr. Kayode Oduoye popularly known as Superkay has described the death of the Ile-Ife born Former Ambassador of Nigeria to China Amb. Gunju Adesakin as the exit of a titan who shall be greatly missed by the party.

Hon. (Dr.) Kayode Oduoye Superkay said this in the early hours of today while paying a Condolence visit to the family of Adesakin at Parakin Ile-Ife over the demise of the late sage and Elders Statesman Amb. Senator Gunju Adesakin who passed on recently at age 84. Dr. Oduoye was received to the Country Home of the late Party Elder by the wife of the deceased Chief (Mrs) Toyosi Adesakin, Children and the Party Faithfuls in Ife Land.

In his condolence message to the family titled "The Exit of A Titan", Dr. Kayode Oduoye described the life of Amb. Adesakin as a life of a warrior who came to this world, fought battles and conquered. He stressed that the world especially Osun PDP Family has lost an icon who always show love to everyone around him, he said Late Gunju Adesakin until his death was known for his fearlessness, consistency and doggedness as a true Party Stalwart who is worthy of emulation. He further stressed that Baba lived a purposeful life for the betterment of not only the family but to PDP and the Society at large. So, we shall miss him so much especially in PDP.

The Wife of the Deceased Chief Mrs. Toyosi Adesakin on behalf of the family appreciates Hon. Dr. Kayode Oduoye and his entourages for identify and commensurate with the family during this hard time. She described Superkay as a gentleman who is not a stranger to the family while she recalled and narrated to the sympathizers many discussions with her late husband about the personality of Dr. Kayode Oduoye.

Late Amb. Senator Gunju Adesakin was Otun Balogun of Ile-Ife, Former Ambassador of Nigeria to China and Former Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
