The Aide-De-Camp to the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi has allegedly harassed the Oluwo of Iwoland, Oba Abdulrosheed Akanbi by pushing the firstclass monarch during a meeting of tr Council of Obas on Tuesday.
The attack on the traditional ruler awed dignitaries ho attended the meeting held at the Presidential hotel, Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
Some of the eyewitnesses alleged that the security aide to Oba Ogunwusi acted on behalf of his principal owing to the cold relationship between the two monarchs.
An eyewitness of the scenario who provided a photo to support his claims explained that Ooni had been called to make vote of thanks when Oluwo was engaging the Minister for Interior, Abdulrahman Danbazau who came to represent the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari in a conversation before the apparently overzealous security guard pushed Oba Akanbi to make way for Ooni.
The eyewitness who did not want his nme published said, " While Ooni was coming to his seat, the security guard asked Oluwo to leave the road or he will push him. Oluwo tried to plead with him to be patient but he resisted pleas. The ADC then pushed Oluwo but monarch excused himself to maintain peace."
The source said Ooni of Ife who observed the altercation between Oba Akanbi and the security gurad felt unperturbed.
Feasibly angered Oluwo was said to have stepped aside to give way for peace before he revisited his conversation with the minister.
