Guber Poll: APC Youth Wing, Oyetola Task Members On Collection Of PVCs, Peace



The Coordinator, Osun All Progressives Youth Forum (OAPYF), Comrade Olateju Olorungbebe Adunni has pleaded with the youths of the All Progressives Congress to work for the continuity of good governance in Osun State.


The APYF Coordinator, made the plea in Ikirun at a town hall meeting organized by the forum, towards resolving perceived differences within the party and to also pacify some aggrieved members.


Speaking at the Day 4 of the town hall meeting which covers Ifelodun, Boripe and Odo-otin federal constituency, he implored the people of the State, especially those who have not registered, to ensure they register with INEC, with a view to securing their PVCs to enable them participate in the coming election.


Adunni submitted that the PVC is the only weapon with which the youths can claim their rights for continuity of good governance.


The APYF coordinator said the party is ready to listen to all grievances from the youths assuring that measures have been put in place to make the programme a huge success.


Earlier, the Chief of staff to the Osun State governor, Alihaji Gboyega Oyetola charged the youths on peace – building, saying, no meaningful development would be achieved in an atmosphere of rancour and acrimony.


Oyetola said  “Each and every one of us must work deliberately to ensure sustainable peace in our great state to enable us realise our dream of becoming a developed  State  in the nearest future”.


The Senior Special Adviser to the Governor on Projects Monitoring, Hon Wole Idowu while speaking at the meeting commended Governor Aregbesola on the construction of 151km roads in Ifelodun, Boripe and Odo-Otin Federal constituency.


He noted that the government constructed roads across the state for easy transportation as well as to enhance economic development in the state.
