A 17 year old boy identified as Nuhu Bulus of Boloji ward, Toro local government area of Bauchi state has been reportedly arrested by the Bauchi state police command for killing his 65-year-old father, identified as Bulus Azi.
According report, the boy who was arraigned by the police alongside other suspects killed his father by hitting him with a mud pot, wood and Sickle after taking hard drugs.
It was learnt that the suspect's other siblings, Samaila Bulus and Musa Bulus reported the incidence at Toro police station on the 17th of January, 2018, where they said they left their brother with the father but soon returned to find their father with head injuries allegedly inflicted on him by their brother. Their father was later rushed to Toro General Hospital where he was pronounced dead by a medical doctor while the suspect was later arrested.
While speaking with newsmen after he was paraded, Nuhu Bulus who confessed that he had an argument with his father and the argument later escalated, said he hit him several times on the head with various objects, while also admitting that he committed the act under the influence of hard drugs that he had taken before the argument.
According to report he will be charged to court after investigation is completed.
