30-year-old Rivera cited irreconcilable differences as a reason for the divorce, according to court documents obtained by The Blast.
The divorce was filed for at the Los Angeles Superior Court just over a week after she allegedly hit her husband while they took their son out for a walk.
This is the second time Rivera is filing for divorce from Dorsey whom she married just 3 months after breaking her engagement with rapper Big Sean.
She had filed for a divorce in November 2016, but eventually asked the court to dismiss the paperwork.
She is requesting joint legal and physical custody of their 27-month-old son, Josey Hollis Dorsey, and wants the judge to block either side getting spousal support.
She listed November 24 as the day of separation on the divorce papers, which is day after the altercation with Dorsey took place.
