“I Don’t Wanna Know” singer, Mario Winans was arrested on Wednesday September 27th at his home in Fort Lee, New Jersey and jailed for not paying child support for his 12-year-old son.
Bossip reports that Authorities from the Bergen County Sheriff’s Department raided Winans home, and arrested him without an incident.
The 43-year-old former Bad Boy Records artist and songwriter apparently owes $171,000 in back child support, as it was gathered that his bail is set at same amount of the child support owed.
This is coming after Winans plead guilty to two misdemeanor counts of failure to file tax returns, at this same time last year; a case that could get him up to five years in prison if convicted.
