Another Nigerian artiste has carved a space for himself in the global music industry, this time it is rapper Ycee.
Yesterday the Jagaban rapper was profiled by Billboard, alongside top stars from across the globe, as one of the ‘Next Big Sound’ music lovers should look out for.
Writing on his Instagram, the Juice Rapper, said the recognition came as a surprise to him.
“Woke up this morning and I don’t even know how I ended up on the billboard website only to find out that I AM ON THE BILLBOARDS CHART- NEXT BIG SOUND,”

YCEE rose to fame with his 2015 smash hit single Jagaban, which saw him getting a nod as the Rookie of the Year at the 2016 Headies Awards. Shortly after, the Omo Alhaji crooner inked an exclusive deal with Sony Music Entertainment.
Now, he is getting the global recognition his contemporaries like Wizkid, Tekno and Mr Eazi are getting, and we are so happy for him!
