An American school has declared public holiday on Popular singer Beyonce's birthday! According to the school's semester calendar, 4th September, 2017 will be a 'no school day' and the reason stated there is that "it's Beyonce's birthday" LOL!
The semester schedule has been reshared a number of times online with people questioning why classes should be canceled just because it's Beyonce's birthday. However, someone pointed out that Labour Day this year in the US and in Canada falls on September 4th so that might explain why there's no class on that day.
